A bench ... a bench 30 cm of hight where I climbed, when I was a child, to shave the customers in my father's salon in Naples. Those hours were stolen from my childhood, games and friends, but those were times of war and my contribution was needed to help the family. That's how I began my working career.
A second milestone was set when I was seventeen coming all by myself to Tuscany and opening my own salon.
I attended perfecting courses, I taught in an important Florentine school and then I opened other salons and the Pino Capasso Hairdressing School under my direction and with qualified teachers.
I have participated in many events as well as regional and national competitions, and finally in the European Championships in Brussels that opened the door to the World Championship of 1974 where I won the "World Cup", the most coveted trophy for a hairstylist.
This acknowledgement gave me the right to be a member of the jury that in Paris was asked to choose the new world champion.
I loved and still love my job. Currently I have three salons and a school in the centre of Florence, where with great satisfaction I have passed my skills onto to the many boys and girls who attended and attend today the Pino Capasso Hairdressing School.
I am also proud that some of my former students are now among the most successful stylists in the field. "
